UK small ships registered, still has original maker’s plate, with serial number. Twin screw, 2 x Foden FD4 engines, both in good condition and running well. The sale includes a large number of spares. Fuel consumption is 12-15 litres/hour. Long keel (copper sheathed), with 2 bilge keels.

Griffin is a beautiful example of these very strongly-built and seaworthy vessels. Our home-from-home for 15 years, a part of the family, we are reluctantly selling her, but with genuine reason. This is a unique opportunity to own a fabulous example of these wonderful boats.

Built in 1946 by the British Power Boat Company. Double-diagonal Honduras Mahogany on English Oak frames, the wood below the waterline, topsides, deck and wheehouse is all in very sound condition. Also fully belted / doubling board at waterline, in English oak. Registered on Historic Ships (Overseas) Register.

High quality genuine Admiralty fittings throughout. Currently fitted out with 8 berths, but this may be increased with very little work.
LCD TV and satellite TV equipment in saloon. Couches convert to single berths. Bookshelves and storage. Bathroom with WC and shower.
Large double bed in aft cabin. Also vanity unit and day-sitting area, with huge amount of storage and clothes-hanging. Small (removable) child's berth. En-suite WC.
Forward cabin has 4 berths, with lower 2 able to convert to large double.

Aft cabin, engine room and saloon / forward cabin areas are all separated by full-height bulkheads. This boat is fully-equipped in every way, a new owner could move straight on board and be ready to sail.

Lofrans 2000W anchor winch. Main 65kg Brittany anchor. Second 45kg Brittany anchor (brand new). 150m of 10mm chain.
Lots of on-deck storage cabinets.
Wheelhouse galley, with storage.
